How Maple eSign handles trust

What’s built in

Document events are recorded in an append-only, hash-chained audit trail.
Completed documents can be sealed into a PDF, with a Certificate of Completion and the document’s SHA-256 hash on record.
Each event is stamped with the server’s time.
Built in Canada and run on Google Cloud’s Canadian infrastructure, under a Canada-only infrastructure policy.

What we won’t do

Claim certifications we don’t have. Maple eSign doesn’t claim any third-party security certification.
Let an agent sign for you. An agent can find your agreements and prepare drafts, but a person sends them, and only a person can sign or give consent.
Hide that it’s Maple eSign. Your brand goes on every agreement and email, and signing pages keep a small “Powered by Maple eSign” mark.
Promise more than a contract can. Running in Canada isn’t the same as guaranteeing your data stays there. A contractual residency commitment needs an enforced organization policy and an approved agreement.
Take over responsibility for your agreement. The sender is still responsible for the agreement, the recipient details, and how the completed copy is shared.
